Mark Sandrof

American b 1947 -

Mark Sandrof had a relatively normal childhood, born in Worcester MA in 1947. Following RISD and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he worked as a newspaper photographer, Photo Editor and Commercial Photographer. Since 1980, Sandrof has been mixed up with Tony Decaneas at Panopticon Photo Lab and Gallery. He initiated the digital department and continues to restore and help market the photographic collections at Decaneas Archives.

Sandrof co-authored the book, American Landscapes 1968 – 1990 with California photographer Enrico Natali.

Mark lives in Lincoln, MA with his wife Patience, and enjoys working with wood as well as pixels, making cheeseboards and bowls from locally available trees.
