Mark Sandrof

American 1947 –

Following RISD and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he worked as a newspaper photographer, Photo Editor and Commercial Photographer. In 1980, he mixed up with Tony Decaneas at Panopticon Photo Lab and Gallery. He initiated the digital department restoring and helping market the photographic collections.

Sandrof co-authored the book, American Landscapes 1968 – 1990 with California photographer Enrico Natali.

Now retired, Mark lives in Lincoln, MA with his wife Patience, and enjoys working with pixels as well as wood, making cutting boards and bowls from locally available trees.
